Travel

Italy, Sweden, France, England, Ireland, Wales, Croatia, LA, Florida, Japan, Fiji
Off the top of my head these are places that before I do I need to visit. Not want. Need.
More so recently I have been pining for an opportunity to travel somewhere, absolutely anywhere.
I am sick of remaining in one spot wasting my life away working.
I would love to live in Europe for a few years.
Give me strength to pay off my bills and make it so.

December SeasonsBox!

I just received my December Seasons Box in the mail today, and I'm so stoked! For those who don't know this is a monthly subscription that instead of giving cosmetics and beauty related items, they include items for your body, mind, and soul. I am all about that!
Most of these products are also fair trade and vegan! SO it's really exciting to receive things like this.
This is their first box and they are situated here in Canada which is also super exciting. I'm so used to receiving my boxes from America, if they even ship to Canada. :(
Alright let's begin,
The first product in this box is by the brand SOAK essentials-which is primarily bath related products. It came in this REALLY cute chinese take away box with a lil handle and bow..Uhg, adorable. Anyway! I got the Aches & pains aromatherapy bath salts. WHICH, might I add, is super convenient because lately my shoulders and back have been killing me. Most of the products this month were relative to winter, so the scent of these salts were soo minty. Not the overwhelming type but just very.. I'm here, I'm minty... Yeah. I've never used bath salts before so I'm not certain on how to use them? Do I just take a chunk off and that's enough or do I have to let the whole thing explode? I honestly have no clue.

Moving on!!
Bambu earth Handmade Soap-Pine with Parsley
Okay I'm not a HUGE fan of hand soap that's in a bar, but this soap looks so cool. It reminds me of the soap I used to use as a kid. And just for that I will probably use it loads. Step aside, bottled soap.. It smells literally just like pine and while I don't really care for that scent I really wouldn't mind it being on my hands because it's so damn fresh. Like when you're walking outside in winter in a forest and there's Bambi and Thumper and you're so mystified by it all that's exactly what it smells like okay? Trust me.
Another awesome thing about this is that the wrapper around it that has all the info about it can be freaking planted! In the ground! And it creates life! So cool, and considering it's winter I wonder if the wildflowers will survive all year round? Damn nature, you're crazy.

Bath and Body Works-Fresh Balsam Small candle, Winter Candy Apple hand sanitizer
Seriously, when I found out these were going to be in the box I was too excited. I kind of rediscovered Bath and Body Works last October and I have been OBSESSING. I've spent so much money in that store, for myself and for christmas gifts and all that... It's unhealthy, and I have to muster strength to walk PASSED the store at the mall... The candle is burning right now, mostly because I want to get through it to use my other larger candle, and because I don't really care for the pine smell as stated above. It's still got a nice fresh scent to it though.
When I smelled the Winter Candy apple candle in the store I wanted to eat it. Not even joking I would have taken a bite out of it. But as a sanitizer I feel like the scent is too sweet and sick, especially with the addition of the alcohol. I will still use it, mind you. I already own one! But it's not a favourite for my sanitizing needs.
I think it's nice also that they have something semi-familiar to us, I'm speaking for myself here but I knew none of the other brands in the box aside from B&BW. I'm assuming they probably won't do that for all their boxes, mostly because it's super hard to find a vegan brand of anything now.

Tisamo Chocolate Tea-
I have yet to try this product but I'm hearing amazing things. And I don't drink tea, but I will to try this out. It's real Cacao leaves from the real South America. This company loves fair and direct trade, plus they keep it all organic. They have a bunch of other flavours too which is real neat. I think it's so awesome that chocolate comes from leaves and what not. Smelling the tin makes me salivate. Wait oops new years resolutions come on... Um I mean it makes me sick to my stomach!!!!!! I'm kidding, it does make me salivate, but only because! I can imagine coming home from a really bristly walk in the dead of winter and drinking this and wearing a snuggie. So refreshing.

Evergreen Chai Tea and Mint Truffle Lip balm-
These lip balms smell SO GOOD. To be honest though, and my lips are feeling so dry lately, they haven't really been helping or anything. Maybe in the summer they will just nourish them and stuff but as for the winter I probably won't use them much except for my nose. They're real cute though and I'm hoping to get better use of them in the warmer weather.

That's it for the December Seasonsbox! I was super happy to get what I got, and realllly excited for the upcoming months. From what I've heard they intend to theme their boxes for the months. Like Valentines Day-Feb, Halloween-Oct. ETC! Which is such a cool idea and I'm so so pleased with everything.
Ta-ta for now!!!

Goodmorning

Yesterday was my 19th birthday and I feel like I went through some crazy whatever those things are called, when you go through a life change. Nothing significant even happened, I just had a nice day, I fought with my boyfriend a bit, I hung out with my family. I feel weird, usually I have these weird moods where I just want to escape and travel the world, and I feel like that right now, but in a more mature way.
I'm sure next year when I turn 20 I will feel even weirder. That looks weird too, that I'll be turning 20. Then there's no excuses, I will be a legitimate adult. I'm so over getting told what to do now, it's time to start thinking about my own future, and making myself happy.
I don't want to live for anyone else but myself.
